What was once a nut native to North America is now successfully grown in various countries, including South Africa, Australia, Argentina, Peru, and others. Our Chief Operating Officer, Brian Driscoll, recently had the opportunity to participate in the South Africa Pecan Growers (SAPA) & SA Pecans Field Day & Conference in South Africa, where the focus was on growing practices to gain efficiencies in pecan production. It’s wonderful to witness the global industry thrive on both sides of the hemisphere, allowing a year-round supply of these delicious nuts to the world.
